STRUCTURE OF THE EPICENTER OF WORSHIP

     Students attending Vision (Christian Campus Ministry) bible studies on the Michigan State University campus were looking for a place to grow in the Lord. Therefore directed by the Holy Spirit, Pastor Sean Holland formed the Apostolic Word Church of East Lansing in January of 2004. The Mission of the church was & is to "Preach A Real Word For Real Times, To Teach The Truth Of Salvation, & To Prepare God's People For Church & Community Leadership." Although attendance began very modestly, through the grace of God attendance each week increased exponentially. Sunday Morning Worship Service was held at the Kellogg Hotel & Conference Center (of Michigan State University). In August of 2004, during the International Holy Convocation of the Church of Our Lord Jesus Christ, Apostolic Word Church was given an official church charter. In the financial sector, the church plans to open up a number of businesses so members can have gainful employment and learn about entrepreneurship. The church body is composed individuals in the Lansing community including undergraduate and graduate students from Michigan State University in East Lansing MI, Kettering University in Flint, MI, and Western Michigan University in Kalamazoo, MI.

     We are moving from Apostolic Word Church to the Epicenter Of Worship. The Vision God gave Pastor Holland is three-fold spiritually, natural, business components of the Kingdom of God. Spiritually, the church is to preach the gospel of Jesus Christ and His message of salvation. The Epicenter Of Worship is positioning itself to meet the needs of its members and minister to the total person. As God has directed, the church has been making several advancements in the Kingdom of God. We moved from the Kellogg Center on the campus of Michigan State University to the Christ Community Church building at 227 North Capitol Ave. Lansing MI 48933. Here we have diversified our congregation within ethnicities, ages, and families. We continue to meet the needs of the people in a greater multitude as they come into a life of Christ. The name of the church has changed because the level of faith has changed. We are being taken to a place in the Kingdom of God were His works are to be finished. The Lord has taken this church in the palm of his hand and molded it to His liking. The Epicenter Of Worship is where the Lord Jesus Christ dwells and his Kingdom is uplifted with sincere hearts. This place of worship continues to grow and produce a word from God with His guidance. The Epicenter Of Worship will continue to push forth in authority, righteousness and spreading the Gospel to all.
